Surisha

I was laying on my bed since our lunch. I feeling suffocated. I was lost in my thoughts when my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and saw Ansh's Dadi's call. I answered the phone quickly.

Dadi:"Surisha beta, How are you?"

Surisha:"I'm fine Dadi. How are you?"

Dadi:"I'm also doing great. I called you for some important reason."

Surisha:"What is it Dadi?"

Dadi:"Listen, Reyansh's mom and chacchi were insisting that you should come to our house. As we were spending our family time together so we thought why not invite you."

Surisha:"But Dadi how can I co-"

Dadi:"No you're coming and that's final. Don't you consider me as your Dadi?"

Surisha:"Aap se koi nahi jit sakhta".

Dadi:"Mujhe para hein. Ab jaldi se aa jao."

Surisha:"OK Dadi."

Now I have to tell this matter to Ansh. I hope he doesn't get angry and misunderstood me again.

Surisha:"Ansh actually Dadi called me just now and invited me to your house. She was insisting a lot that's why I agree."

Reyansh:"OK go. I know how troublesome can be Dadi."

Surisha:"Really, I can go? Are you not angry?"

Reyansh:"No isha, I'm not angry. Go ahead. I'm also going there."

Surisha:"Okkkk". With that I got ready quickly as I'm very excited.

I got ready and quickly left the house. I just want to reach there as early as possible. Even when I didn't know that they are my in-laws, I felt comfortable around them. They make me feels like home. They made feel the the love, the warmth that I've been missing all the years. I don't know if my and Ansh's relation would end up well. But through Ansh I got a family that I've always craved for. Soon I reached there and pressed the bell. Anika opened the door and hugged me tightly. I also squeezed her between my arms.

Anika:"Di, I missed you so so so much. Why don't you visit us regularly? We should hang out more Di."

Surisha:"I also missed you baccha. You know na works get so much hectic for me."

Reyansh's mom:"Tum dono ko waha pe khare rehke sab baatein khatam karni hein?"

Surisha:"Namaste, Aunty. How are you?"

Mom:"I'm good my baacha. Come inside. Everyone is waiting for you."

Dadi:"Finally you came!! We thought we have to send Vivek to bring you here."

Surisha:"Dadi mein aa gayi hun. Ab itna drama maat kijiye."

Dadi:"Haan Haan yeh Buddhi hi to sab drama karti hein is ghar mein."

Dada ji:"Apko filhal yeh baat pata chali hein!"

Dadi:"Ap chup rahiye. Room mein jake Apko batati hun."

Dada ji:"Areh darling, don't be angry. I was just joking."

Anika:"Ewww, Dadaji yeh PDA room mein kijiye. Mujhe lagta hein ab se mujhe sunglasses and headphones pehen ke ghum na chaiye is ghar mein. Jab dekho koi na koi apni love story ka display karke ghumte rehte hein. Specially mom-dad and badi ma and Bade papa."

Chachi:" Rukh, Teri muh bohot chalni lagi hein. Bohot marungi tujha aj."

Anika:"Areh mummy, gussa mat ho."

After a while-

Chachu:"Anika iss saal tumko kya gift chaiye birthday me?"

Anika:"Papa just buy me a lot of books."

Chachi:"Finally mere bacche ko kuch akal to ayi. I'm so happy."

Adarsh:"Areh mum, she doesn't want any academic books. She wants those cringy love stories."

Anika:"Chup ho ja Ideal.Tera khun kar de na hein mujhe kisidin."

Dadu:"Baccho ab rukh bhi jao. By the way, Surisha when is your birthday?"

Vivek while entering the house said, "Sorry but sir today is Surisha's birthday. I found out just now."

Surisha's eyes went wide when he mentioned her birthday. Surisha while stuttering,"Bhiya, how do you know".

Vivek:"You gave me your biodata that day for correcting something in there, that's when I saw it. Happy birthday baccha."

Anika:"Di, it's your birthday but you didn't told us. It's not right Di."

Mom:"Abosolutely, now as you're here we should celebrate your birthday. Me and your cahachi is going to make dinner. Baccha party will bake a cake for you. And don't you dare to say anything about it."

Surisha nodded meekly and said, "But you don't have to-"

Dad:"Oh beta. You're just like our family member. And in this family at any birthday, these beautiful ladies prepare meals and young generation bakes a cake."

Surisha:"Thanks everyone."

Reyansh also entered the living room while talking on the phone.

Adarsh:"Bhaiya, can you help us to bake a cake. You know na this chudail can't bake a single thing. I want your help for baking Surisha di's cake."

Reyansh:"OK, I'll help you as I don't have any work."

With that everyone got busy preparing for Surisha's birthday party.

Surisha:"Thanks everyone. You guys made my day truly."

Dadi:" You're like a family. So drop this formality."

Then everyone gifted something to Surisha. Surisha was feeling overwhelmed seeing everyone giving so much love to her.
