Reyansh

As the storm clouds gathered ominously in the sky above, Surisha's heart fluttered with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. She stood in the grand foyer of Dadi Surita's opulent mansion, her mind swirling with memories of the past and uncertainties of the present. The warmth of the flickering candles did little to dispel the cold dread that had settled in her bones.

Surisha's thoughts drifted back to the day she had unwittingly become entangled in a marriage that she never sought. Reyansh Agnihotri, the enigmatic man who now stood before her, had been nothing more than a stranger at the time. Dadi Surita's voice echoed through the halls, breaking the tense silence that enveloped them. She beckoned Surisha and Reyansh to join her in the elegantly adorned drawing-room, where a lavish spread of delicacies awaited them. Surisha felt a pang of apprehension as she followed Reyansh, unsure of what lay ahead in this unexpected rendezvous.

As they settled into the plush armchairs, Dadi Surita's wise eyes surveyed them both with a knowing twinkle. She spoke in a voice that carried the weight of years of experience and wisdom, addressing the unresolved tension that hung between Surisha and Reyansh. Her words cut through the air like a sharp blade, laying bare the truths that both had been reluctant to face.

A call intrupted their conversations. Surisha took a quick glance at the caller ID and saw virat her cousin's name. She excused herself and went to take the call. Reyansh was observing Surisha secretly. He wondered who was in the call that made Surisha so excited.

Surisha :"Bhai!! Aap kese ho? Kitne din baad phone kiya hein apne. Lagta hein London mein ja ke Aap mujhe bhool gaye hein. I miss you so much. Are you OK? Did you find any gf? When will you return in India?"

Virat:"Ruk ja meri bullet train. Ek sathe kitne qs karti hein. I also miss you laado. No I didn't find any Gf. Tell me where are you?"

Surisha :"Mein to kaam pe hu. Kuch der mein ghar kiliye niklungi. Kyu".

Virat:" Mujhe tera workplace ka address de. Mein tujhe pick karunga."

Surisha :" WHAT?? YOU'RE IN INDIA!! WHY YOU DIDN'T INFORM ME."

Virat:" laado mein surprise dena chati thi. Itna chilla mat tera vocal cord tut jayega. Now give me your address quickly. I'll be there in 30 min. "

Surisha :" OK bhai come quickly". Then Surisha returned to the living room and saw new people. Seeing so many new faces she become confused. Dadi noticed her and said, "Surisha meet my other family members. They went to village for some work that's why they weren't here since morning".

Surisha :"Namste Sir & Mam. I'm Surisha in charge of decoration". Suddenly someone called Surisha. Surisha turned and saw Anika. Few days ago couple of boys were teasing Anika in the road and Surisha protected her from them.

Anika:"Di!! What a pleasant surprise! How are you? Why are you at my house?"

Surisha :"Hi, Anika. I'm fine. I didn't know this is your house. I'm decorating your house for the puja". Everyone was curious about how they know each other.

Anika:"Remember when I told you that some boys were teasing me and a girl helped me? She is the girl who protected me that time."

Devyani(aunt) : "Thanks dear for helping my child. God bless you and give you every happiness in this world".

Surisha :"No mam don't embarrass me like that. I just helped her it's nothing big". Then a msg from virat pop on her phone saying that he is in front of the mansion.

Surisha :"Dadi I have to go now. I have an important meeting. If you need to fix any decoration you can call me". With that she left the mansion.

Seeing virat after 5 years she ran towards him hugged him tightly and started crying. Surisha was sobbing continously and virat was comforting her.

Reyansh saw this scene from his balcony and thought that virat is Surisha's bf.
